A registered Architect in the States of Texas, Kansas & Florida; Mark boasts 25 years of practice in architecture with 3 years devoted to environmental planning. Mark earned his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Cincinnati and his Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University. Mark has been a resident of South Padre Island, Port Isabel and Crystal Beach in Texas. He has owned and operated Multi-family Housing, Marina, Hotel and RV park facilitiies on the Texas Gulf Coast. Mark currently resides on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas. Mark Has performed Design and Development Planning for Military Facilities World Wide, NASA, NSA, NIH, The State Department, Argonne Labs, The Army Corps of Engineers, Telecommunications facility planning for GTE, Bell South, SNET, Universities throughout the nation and Walt Disney World. Currently Mark is the coordinating Architect for the Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Resort in Kansas City, Kansas and is the Architect for the Schlitterbahn Development Group, coordinating the design and construction of numerous resort projects for Schlitterbahn. Projects in the local area include Feasibility Studies for development potential, Facility Condition Audits and Assessments, Design and Construction management with an emphasis on Restaurant, Bar, Hotel, Motel & Multifamily Housing, Lodging, Resort Structures, RV Park Design, Amusement Park Facilities, Aquatic Facilities, Marina, Dockage, Church Design, Manufactured Construction Design, Green Roofing, Construction utilizing Recycled Consumer Content, International Energy Code Compliance and Energy Star Performance. Mark has been Chairman of the Board for the Port Isabel Public Housing Authority, a member of the Island Baptist Church, and the the Society of Military Engineers. Mark is a member of the American Institute of Architects, The Texas Society of Architects, The National Council of Architect Registration Boards and the International Code Council.
